Support the Mission to Roatán— Spring 2026

Rebuilding communities and spreading the gospel throughout the island.

Trip Overview

In Spring 2026, our SonRise Mission team will return to Sandy Bay, Roatán, Honduras, to serve alongside Calvary Chapel Roatán, a faithful ministry working in one of the island’s most underserved communities. Behind the island’s postcard-worthy scenery, lie families grappling with poverty and a need for hope.

What We'll Be Doing

Facility Improvements

We’ll help with construction and maintenance projects to improve the church building and surrounding property, serving the needs of the ministry and community.

Interior Restoration

Our team may assist with painting, finishing rooms, or other interior updates to support ministry use and local outreach.

Site Repairs

As needed, we’ll help restore areas impacted by weather or wear — potentially including retaining structures, drainage, or other infrastructure.

Hands-On Ministry

We’ll partner with Calvary Chapel Roatán in serving the local community through evangelism, kids’ ministry, or food distribution—based on current needs.

Spiritual Support

Beyond the work projects, we’ll spend time encouraging the local church, building relationships, and sharing the love of Christ through every interaction.
