Trip Overview

Two Countries. One Mission.

We can’t share every detail publicly — and that’s intentional. But this is a real mission trip, and our team is expectant about what God is going to do.

In Nepal, our team will be serving in a missions context we’re intentionally keeping off the public internet. The work is real, the need is real, and the people involved are doing something worth protecting. We’re excited to go and trust God to use us — we just can’t say much more than that here.

In Croatia, rather than flying straight home, we’re making a deliberate stopover along the Adriatic coast. Croatia has a small evangelical presence, and this leg of the trip is a prayer journey — walking the streets, seeking God together, and asking whether He’s calling us to invest in this region in the future.

The trip runs September 26 through October 15, 2026 — a total of 20 days. This includes travel days to Nepal, time serving at the local school, and our stopover in Croatia on the return home.

Conditions in Nepal will vary based on the location of the school we’re serving. Croatia in early October is mild and pleasant along the coast. More specific preparation guidance will be provided as the trip develops.

Yes. Each team member has a $3,200 fundraising goal. Supporters can give directly toward a specific team member through our online giving portal. Every dollar goes toward covering trip costs.

Yes. Contributions are made to SonRise Mission Inc., a registered nonprofit. All gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. SonRise Mission Inc. retains discretion over how donated funds are allocated.

Yes — all international travel requires a valid U.S. passport. Make sure yours is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date of October 15, 2026. Entry requirements for Nepal and Croatia will be communicated to team members directly.
